FUNCTIONAL TASKS:

– Is a paraclinical department with the function of receiving and taking samples for testing for patients coming for examination, periodic health examination for companies, schools, etc. Performing Biochemistry, Immunology, Hematology, Microbiology-Parasitology, Cytology, Prenatal Screening, Molecular Biology testing techniques, etc. to serve the diagnosis, detect the cause, and monitor the treatment process for patients and doctors.

- Automated Biochemistry - Immunoassay System: Cobas 6000.

- Tosoh Automated Biochemistry – Immunology System.

- Beckman Coulter Automated Biochemistry Testing System.

- Sysmex Hematology and Coagulation Testing System.

- Medica electrolyte testing system.

- Class 2 Biological Safety Cabinet.

- Sacace PCR system.

- Olympus electron microscope.

- Supporting equipment such as centrifuges, pipettes... are calibrated annually.

PERFORM BASIC TO ADVANCED TESTS SUCH AS GENETIC MUTATION TESTS, VIRUS QUANTITATION, CANCER SCREENING TESTS.

The Department of Testing has achieved the excellent testing certification of the Center for Standardization - Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health and the Center for Standardization. In 2020, the Department of Testing achieved the laboratory management system according to ISO 15189:2012 standard.
