Center for Molecular Biology - Dai Phuoc Clinic respectfully informs customers about RQ-PCR testing service of gene combinations in AML and ALL specifically as follows:

Advantages of RQ-PCR test :

• High sensitivity: RQ-PCR is capable of detecting gene mutations at very low levels, even when the number of diseased cells is small, reaching ^10-4 to ^10-5 .
• High specificity: Primer and probe pairs are specifically designed for each gene mutation, ensuring correct amplification of the target gene segment.

Sampling specifications :

(1) For samples sent to Dai Phuoc Clinic within 4 hours: take 2 mL of bone marrow or 4 mL of blood (if white blood cells are 20 K/µL) in an EDTA tube, transfer at room temperature.

(2) For samples sent from a distance, sent to Dai Phuoc Clinic > 4 hours, collected in cf-RNA tubes:

• Sample type: 2 mL bone marrow or 3-4 mL blood (if white blood cell count is 20 K/µL) in cf-RNA Preservative Tubes provided by Dai Phuoc PK.
• How to collect samples into cf-RNA Preservative Tubes :

• Take the specimen into the syringe.
• Insert the needle through the rubber stopper of the cf-RNA tube to stand upright, to avoid the chemical in the cf-RNA tube from flowing back.
• Inject a full sample (about 3 ml), then withdraw the needle.
• Mix immediately by gently inverting the tube, rotating 180 degrees about 10 times.

• Store collected samples in cf-RNA Preservative Tubes during transport:

• Transfer to Dai Phuoc Clinic within 48 hours: Sample tube at room temperature ( ≤ 25 ⁰ C).
• Transfer to Dai Phuoc Clinic > 48 hours: must be stored in refrigerator (4 – 8 ⁰ C), transfer within 7 days. 

Time to return results: Within 10 working days
